The Balloon Caddis

One of my favorite patterns, I tie this one on for dry dropper rigs, if I see caddis or hoppers around, or just to search for fish. 90% of the time I’m out fishing I’m using a balloon caddis and quite often in the dry dropper setup. I tend to prefer size 10 and 12 but I will fish them down to size 20.
